Name:Tina Fields-Robinson
Age:27
Gender:Female
Species: human
Affilation: Neutral
Occupation: Holds a string of odd jobs (mostly due to boredom) and Mother
Physical Description: Tina is one of those humans that most would say has subtle beauty. There is nothing about her that particularly stands out, making her a bombshell, but there is nothing that hints that she was hit with an ugly stick either. Her dark red, almost mahogany, colored locks are a few inches past her shoulders that goes rather nicely with her fair skin. She has a set of expressive light bluish-gray eyes. She has a slim build that would almost never hint that she has gone through pregnancy. While there is nothing overly impressive about her, there is just a certain something that catches one's eye; the way she carries herself. She moves with a confidence that seems almost too natural. The grin she wears is a genuine one and the way she holds herself hints that she knows her own self worth and has no qualms in reminding those around her of such.
Personality and Temperament: Tina is what one would call a bombshell. She is a very bright and rather bubbly person; but there is also that side to her that makes her one not to mess with. She has somewhat explosive anger. She is also stubborn beyond belief. She does not compromise herself or her own beliefs just to appease someone else and is also fiercely protective of her daughter and half-brother. If something makes her mad, she has no qualms about saying so and fixing the problem. She is one extreme to the next. While her anger is something that is not all that enjoyable, her other attributes tend to be a bit more tolerable.
Tina has the problem where she is entertained easily and yet can tire of something in the same speed. She needs to constantly be trying something new. This is both a blessing and a curse considering Tina is now in adulthood and should be settling down with a consistant job. She suffers from her eccentricities in a way that most would simply categorize her as "off her rocker". She is almost too outspoken for her own good and it tends to cause her unemployment just as much as her boredom does. Those that make comments on her emplyment status tend to find themselves facing her fiery temper.
History: Tina grew up in what some would consider a normal setting. Her mother and father were divorced when she was just a baby. After enough custody battles in one year to last one a life time, Tina ended up with her father and a lovely new surprise-- a baby brother! While most siblings would feel jealous of such an intrusion, Tina loved the idea. She didn't want a dog instead, rather, she was perfectly alright with having a younger half-sibling. After all, if he got boring, Oliver would go back to his mother's and then come back when he was exciting again. Tina, much like Oliver, was homeschooled. Though she wasn't nearly as studious. Quite the opposite really, she was more or less caught getting herself into some sort of trouble.
The trouble never seemed to stop, even when well out of childhood. That was when she met the ever so lovely Stanley Robinson. He seemed nice, sophisticated, romantic, spontaneous, and all that other stuff girls are putty for. The fact that Mr. Robinson was fine with a capitol "F" also had a good factor into the "turn girls into putty" factor. The two met at a bar, dated for about three months and (partially due to her short attention span for everything and because Stanley ended up being the type that thought hitting women was particularly acceptable) were married for about four. During the first month of the short marriage, Tina found herself pregnant. The first trimester was about the time where she had enough. She divorced Stanley in what seemed to be a fairly clean divorce (though it was a fairly expensive one). She returned back to the apartment that she shared with her family and opted to raise her daughter, Jacey, there as well. She now tries her best to make rent and help Oliver pay for their father's (who is suffering of cancer) stay at the Sacred Heart. She still finds herself, from time to time, being harassed by her ex-husband, but it's nothing that she can't handle (for now). She does find herself often trying to coach her younger half-brother on how not to be such a wet blanket... she still has yet to break him of such a habit... and she still refuses to give up.
NPC's:
Harold Fields - her father.
Oliver Fields - her half-brother
Jacey Fields-Robsinson- her daugher.
Stanley Robinson - Ex-husband
Drew Stein - Her bff and partner in crime
Sample Character RP:
Tina drummed a set of unmanicured nails along the counter of the would-be kitchen counter of the apartment. Her blue eyes lazily scanning the Employment section of the paper. Damn she was bored. Jacey was at a play date. Oliver was doing whatever it was he did while he was at work (personally she thought it more than likely consisted of him nodding and avoiding eye contact of those "more important" than he). Not even Jacey's goldfish looked like they wanted anything to do with her. How was that possible? Had she lost her edge? Did she become one of those *gasp* boring mothers?
She set down her paper at the realization. No. This could not be. In her times of scrounging for a job, and bother Oliver, had she slipped into that forbidden category? Tina set down the paper and walked around the apartment. It was so odd being the only one there for a change, during the day no less. She made a face and physically stuck her nose up to the idea of becoming one of those mothers that seemed to be professionals at rice crispy squares and sugar and taste free fruit punch. Then again, what did those moms have that she didn't? After all, Tina was just as good as them... if not better! She could make a rice crispy square thingamajig! No problem.
She set to work making such a classic snack. They unfortunately did not have the cereal required, so Tina opted for using croutons. She reached for the box that was clearly marked "Oliver" and opened it, dumping it into the pan. She then put melted two year old marshmallows over the mixture. She let it sit, waiting. As she waited to prove that she was Supermom. When she waited a good twenty minutes she cut herself a slap. She inspected her work. Not bad. It was when she took a bite that she could taste the mistake she had made. She spit the horrible concoction out and rushed to the window, dumping out the offending contents. Alright... so rice crispy squares weren't her thing. It still didn't change the fact that she was supermom.
