Physical Description: There is nothing particularly special about Doso in his appearance. He is of average height for a man at 5’10” and is a little on the lanky side. He has a face that is only seen as handsome in the eyes of some, with pale blue/green eyes that almost always hold a serious tone to them. His hair is a dirty blonde and is cut to a slightly long length, giving it a natural wave and slight curl to it. It should be much shorter, because when he’s concentrating he has the habit of running his hands through it until it looks very dishevelled.
Personality and Temperament: Doso is an extremely serious man. He takes all aspects of his existence very seriously, his job, how he came to be and his duty to his Queen. He almost never smiles or makes jokes, except when alone with Aurelai, something that he feels she appreciates. He is very caring of his changelings, and treats each one like his own child. If they succeed or fail as Vampyr is a personal reflection on his performance. And the ones he has seen turn to the underbelly of Valir do more than just disappoint him. He has untold amounts of love for his Queen, and she has secretly taken the place of his lost wife whom he misses daily. Aurelai is able to fill the gaping void with her presence, and he longs to spend time with her.
History: Doso lost his beloved wife and their new born child in the plague that swept Valir many years ago. He mourns their loss to this day, as he wishes they too had been given Autor’s gift and made immortal. A man of science before the gift was granted to him, Doso had a hard time understanding just what had happened to he, and so many others. He segregated himself from Valir for a good twenty years until he had worked out just exactly what he was, and how the gift could be transferred from himself, to another. Queen Aurelai saw his knowledge and put it to the best use she could imagine, as the overseer of the Aurillian changelings. With his knowledge of Autor’s gift, he saw to it that the change was a smooth and gentle experience. To this day, he performs his duties with as much care and determination that he did all those years ago.

They took it for granted many of them, the gift that was bestowed upon them. There were moments when he wanted there to be stricter rules, to see the gift only given to those who have had their minds strenuously gone through, to determine who will be a true Aurillian, and who will do what he had heard this last one had done, become a blood thirsty and somewhat violent member of the ‘North Quadrant’ gang. He gave a heavy sigh and ran an agitated hand through his already messy brown locks before lowering his notebook, filled to the brim with notes and calculations. His small home was void of a companion, and he had lived alone for six hundred years without worry. In fact on most occasions, the only company he kept by choice was that of his Queen. His job required frequent updates and she often sought out his opinion on many topics. But it was the unofficial moments he spent with her that he cherished the most. He often took walks with her, just enjoying the company she brought that he so often did not have.
His frustrations usually lingered until he had explained the situation to his Queen, and so he usually made an effort to seek her council not long after the bothersome event had occurred. But she had been so busy as of late, with the Brudjan forces mounting against them, he was sure she had, they all had their work cut out for them. He had seen the balance hang in turmoil for so long, but never had the balance slipped in one way or another before, like it was now. Bruis, the bastard child of his beloved Queen was a determined and powerful man… if you could call him that. Sighing yet again he scratched his scalp and reached for his nearest packet of cigarettes. Since cancer was the least of his problems, the nasty little habit had become a good way to relax when needed, and before long one had been lit, a wafting stream of smoke rising from its end like a beautiful dancing woman, twirling until she disappeared into the cool evening air.
